The LHS Mighty Lion Marching Band placed third overall at the BOA Atlanta Super Regional Competition!! They were also awarded Outstanding Music Performance! Congratulations to all the band members and staff.

Tuesday, November 11

9:30 pm - Band Hall open

10:00 pm - Roll call, make final preparations, load bus.

BOA Super-Regional Championship - Atlanta, GA

Wednesday, October 29

10:00 pm

• Band Hall / Auditorium open for voluntary sleep over

Thursday, October 30

 1:00 am - Roll call, make final preparations, load bus

• No large suitcases allowed!!!!
• People should share small ice chest
• screw top bottles only
• be sure to bring bus essentials (pillow, blanket, ipod, HOMEWORK !!!!!)
• there will be mandatory quiet time en route to give students time an opportunity for homework
• dress will include travel shirt

2:00 am - Depart for Atlanta.  Stop on the way for breakfast / lunch (fast food).

The LHS Mighty Lion Marching Band competed in the Bands of America Super Regional competition in St. Louis, Missouri on October 21. Out of the 50 bands participating in this competition our LHS Mighty Lion Marching Band placed 17th!
